Arizona auto accidents can change families' lives in an instant

It is likely that few people stop to consider that simply getting in the family car can be a life-altering decision. Sadly, for too many Arizona families, serious auto accidents can change their lives forever. One recent wreck stole the life of a 9-year-old child.

Arizona officials are still conducting their investigation into a fatal wreck that occurred on a recent Tuesday evening. According to the preliminary reports, the vehicle in which the child was a passenger was attempting to complete a left-hand turn onto a local road when it was struck by a vehicle approaching from the opposite direction. That collision then caused the turning vehicle to hit a third car.

The collisions caused four occupants in the first car to be transported to local area medical facilities. Unfortunately, the wreck caused a 9-year-old boy to suffer fatal injuries. The other injured parties suffered only minor injuries, and the victims were treated and later released from medical care.

It is unknown what the relationships are of the people who were traveling in the struck vehicle, but this crash likely has forever changed the people involved, including the family of the youngster who was killed. Officials have not released the findings of their investigation nor whether the motorist who was driving the second car will face any charges in connection to this fatal crash. Arizona families who have endured similar tragic auto accidents often face significant monetary damages as well. When these crashes are determined to be the fault of another party, the families may choose to seek compensation for damages through the filing of a wrongful death suit through the state's civil court system.
